Previous Evolutions

Extra Chill is a fairly old website. It started in 2011 as the personal blog of a college student based in Charleston, SC. The process of evolution has been quite long, and our focus has shifted several times, each one more broad than the last.

So, we created one category to hold all the content that isn’t completely relevant to our current scope of coverage, but still has interest to our readers. Especially from an archival perspective for the Charleston music scene from 2016-2023. Here it is.
