Arlie & Nordista Freeze – “juicy”

Lollapalooza took place in Chicago this past weekend, and among the many acts on that lineup were an NYC-based band called Arlie, who some of you might remember opened for Stop Light Observations at the Music Farm way back in 2018.

Since then, Arlie have continued to blow up, and during their Saturday afternoon set at Lollapalooza they brought out none other than Extra Chill Fest headliner Nordista Freeze to debut their brand new single “juicy” together on stage (in the rain!).

“juicy” is a total vibe. As warm synths wash over a slow summertime groove, the lyrics describe an unexpected run-in with an old crush from your school days, many years down the line, and spending a wonderful afternoon together. Just like they used to do, “Friday after school.”

Nordista Freeze has had a hell of a summer on the road, including performances at Bonnaroo and now a guest spot at Lolla.
