Persona La Ave and Baraka Release New Collaborative Album, Vapor

On Friday, Persona La Ave and Baraka released their highly-anticipated sixth collaborative album, Vapor. It’s an ambitious 17-track project that shows the two artists in full control of their creative prowess.

Four songs, “Power Walk,” “Match Point 2,” “Future City Oracles,”  and “Vapor,” were released as singles earlier this year. The remaining thirteen songs are new. As one might expect from the duo, the tracks are laden with sparkly synth, plenty of funky bass licks, retro space vibes, and carefully selected samples that blur the lines between reality and fantasy. This long-listen is a sonic journey with one ultimate destination: a dreamy headspace.
