Persona La Ave & Baraka – “Power Walk”

Frequent collaborators Persona La Ave and Baraka hit us with a new single, “Power Walk,” on Friday. 

The wordless track feels both familiar and futuristic, as if you’re immersed in a favorite 80s movie and a world of science fiction at the same time. “Power Walk” is simultaneously ambient and interesting as only a Persona La Ave x Baraka track can be, with plenty of surprising notes and dynamic reverberation. At once nostalgic and forward-looking, its plucky bass and sparkling electronic tones exude a sense of optimism. 

“Power Walk” is aptly named, as I can very much imagine stomping happily down the sidewalk with it playing in my ears. Stream the track below.
