Blake Ratliffe – “Whatever It Takes”

Today, Youngster frontman Blake Ratliffe makes his solo debut with the bubbly indie pop single “Whatever It Takes”. The project is a collaboration with guitarist and producer Dries Vandenberg of SUSTO and Human Resources, and drummer Creighton Barrett of Band of Horses. “Whatever It Takes” is undeniably catchy. I listened to it this morning and then went outside to water my garden and it was still jingling around in my head. There’s a full album on the way from this trio, and a few more singles coming soon.
