Shayne Sanders – “Dreamer”

“Dreamer” by Shayne Sanders is the epitome of this concept.

Shayne Sanders starts off March with the release of this high frequency, upbeat rock-rap tune, that revolves around the life path of being an unwavering dreamer in the midst of manifestation. Heavy acoustics and live instrumentation, with a gentle graze of modern pop is the perfect backing for Shayne’s harmonic-crossover style. It’s the perfect blend of hip hop cadence and flow, with the drive of some bright alternative rock.

This surprise drop is a great follow-up from his last single “Heartless”. I love the ‘avant-rock’ influenced rap style that he is introducing, because it gives us a peak into his vocal range and fluidity between genres.

That’s a #GxldApproved key in being an artist today, especially in hip-hop — you must be able to dibble and dabble in-between the lines of other genres. Shayne continues to do a wonderful job displaying this concept.
