Extra Chill Presents: Kaizër & Mechanical River, Secret Guest, Anfernee & More at Stuart’s House

Join us on Saturday, April 22nd at Stuart’s House in North Charleston (2849 Ranger Drive) for the next Extra Chill Presents concert! Performances are from a diverse bill including Kaizër & Mechanical River, Secret Guest, Anfernee, Summer of Snakes, Rhodium, and Numbtongue.

You might have caught a glimpse of Kaizër & Mechanical River at the Silver Hill Studio show in downtown Charleston on February 24th. This group presents a unique collaboration between the up-and-coming hip-hop artist Kaizër and the well-known experimental folk artist Mechanical River.

The Secret Guest is a band that you know but I’m not going to tell you who it is. The only way to find out is to come to the show and see for yourself.

Anfernee is one of Charleston’s most iconic rappers who has been a steady presence in the scene here for years now. He brings an energetic performance that is known to get the crowd moving, while also leaving room for plenty of grit and social commentary through the music. This can be heard on his recent album PARAGON.

Summer of Snakes is the solo project of guitarist & multinstrumentalist Matt Wentz, whom you might know from the NC-based psychedelic rock band Zack Mexico. In December he released a self-titled album that was an instant favorite among psych-rock fans in the Carolinas.

Rhodium is a new project formed by Charleston artists Indi’Gxld and Black Zola, bringing a smooth mix of hip-hop and experimental R&B alongside mindful, poetic lyricism.

Numbtongue are a Columbia-based alternative pop/rock act who also comes equipped with a recent album release, Phantom Limbs.

$15 cover, see y’all there!
