Extra Chill Returns to The Royal American with 2 Slices, Salti Ray, and DJ DollaMenu

Today we are extremely happy to announce our grand return to hosting shows, starting Saturday, July 3rd 2021 at The Royal American for The Sickest Party of the Year! We’ve put together a banger of a music lineup for the evening including performances by South Carolina artists 2 Slices, Salti Ray, and DJ DollaMenu to help us celebrate the return of live music! The party kicks off at 9pm on July 3rd and the cover is $10 at the door, 21+. This is our first show since the sold-out Extra Chill Leap Year Jamboree in February 2020 and we couldn’t be more excited!

Charleston’s favorite retro-dance band 2 Slices released their anticipated sophomore album, Vision of 2 in early 2020 and managed to sneak one quick southeast run in before being cut short by the pandemic. The album was recorded with a live band at Rialto Row, with none other than Wolfgang Zimmerman working his magic behind the boards. It was well-received and filled with tunes that are hungry for a road-test, and we all know 2 Slices frontman Danny Martin is itching to shake them big white bread booty cheeks on stage again!

Salti Ray are Spartanburg indie darlings who are also sitting on some new music that is dying for a road test, their fabulous 2020 EP, The Right Thing. Led by vocalist Mary Norris and her impressive vocal range, Salti Ray draw out the emotions and then deliver the punch that’s needed from the only rock band on the bill this evening!

DJ DollaMenu is a club sensation around Charleston, constantly spinning for packed crowds up and down King Street as well as releasing hilariously awesome hip-hop music. He’s fresh off the 2021 release of the new album called Care Package and has made a name for himself with consistent drops of creative beats and rhymes over the past few years. DJ DollaMenu is going to get it popping on July 3rd!

We have a few more tricks up our sleeves as well, so stay tuned over the next few weeks, and see y’all at The Royal American on July 3rd!
