Little Bird – “Are You Alright?”

The Little Bird approach to releasing music in 2021 is like that old saying, “If you throw enough shit at the wall, some of it has gotta stick”. Last month they released PROXIMA: BETA, the second of the massive three-part album PROXIMA that they’ve set out to release this year, and finally someone at Spotify threw them a bone and tossed their single “Who Cares” in the Fresh Finds playlist series.

Now they’re back again with yet another single, this one called “Are You Alright?”. Clocking in at a heady four minutes and twenty seconds in length, Little Bird take us to space with this one. Anchored by a thick, juicy bass groove, “Are You Alright?” makes liftoff without a destination in mind and just goes where it feels like going. Luckily our pilot knows a few of the chillest spots in the galaxy and takes us right past them, making for a pretty nice ride.

In addition to the new music, Little Bird have also announced a tour starting later this summer called the “Feel The Future” tour. Again, we’re dealing with some very heady stuff here folks. The tour kicks off later this month in Savannah and culminates with a hometown show at the Windjammer in Charleston on September 25th, dubbed the “Proxima Album Release Show”.
