Grayson Little – “Mountain Mamma Queen”

Charleston singer-songwriter Grayson Little released a new single on August 18th titled “Mountain Mamma Queen”. The track is the fifth single to come from the up-and-coming country artist, who writes music inspired by the Nashville sound, with his own Lowcountry twist.

“Mountain Mamma Queen” places itself in Charleston right away with the lyric “I saw her for the first time / At a bar off-a Cumberland Street.” Grayson then proceeds to describe an interaction with a woman from out of town, West Virginia to be precise, and she had him at hello.

The track has a warmth to it, with a smooth electric guitar leading the way and Grayson’s vocal intensity building throughout. It’s a promising, easy-listening release from the young artist, and I’m interested in seeing how he continues to grow as a songwriter.
