On Monday, June 19, popular Sublime tribute Badfish performed a sold out show at the Charleston Pour House with support from up-and-coming St. Petersburg, FL duo The Ries Brothers. The audience was also treated to musical guests in the form of Charleston locals John & Kevin Shields of Little Stranger — in town for a short stint before hitting the road again for the rest of summer.

The Ries Brothers kicked things off before a Monday night crowd that was ready to party. They performed originals including their recent release “Strange Times” and more, and then brought up Kevin Shields. Loser Chris got up there for a bit, too, and even tour manager Dan Snell.

Next up, Badfish took the stage performing all of Sublime’s classics with the same kind of irreverent energy that you’d expect, plus some special surprises. Both John and Kevin Shields hopped on stage during the latter part of the set, first for some Sublime songs and then for a rendition of their 2021 single “Red Rover”.
