Tyrie – “Youth”

Last week, Tyrie dropped a new single, “Youth.” The track is a mellow jam that emanates a sense of pleasant blurriness. 

“Youth” opens with the sound of a phone ringing and quickly drops into a kind of sonic dreamscape. The vibe is hazy and sensual, and Tyrie’s voice has an echo-y quality. “Regardless of my youth / I spend my days with you,” the lyrics repeat. Images of pool parties are conjured, and the song feels just right for the kind of folly that can only be found during the summer.
