Kidd Aggie Announces EP and Releases Acoustic Video for New Song

Charleston-based songwriter Kidd Aggie recently announced his upcoming self-titled debut EP, which will be released August 17th. The release will be followed by a hard copy release show at The Royal American on Thursday, August 24th with Issac Smith, Mel Washington, and Watson Village.

Kidd Aggie has been pursuing a solo career ever since his former band The Dunder Chiefs called it quits last year, starting with “Shortcut to Nowhere” which was released earlier this year. This will be his first album as a solo artist, and the album will include his own take on “Worth It”, a song originally by The Dunder Chiefs.

Along with the EP announcement, Kidd Aggie released an acoustic video for “Mind’s Eye”, a song which will also be included on the new EP. Stream the video below, and check him out at the Freehouse Brewery Open Mic this Saturday.
