Baby Yaga Releases Fuck EP

On Sunday, we had the immense pleasure of premiering the music video for “Going to Hell” off Baby Yaga’s debut EP, Fuck. The EP was originally scheduled for release yesterday, Monday, June 29th, but due to unforeseen circumstances (perhaps having to do with the title of the EP), the release was delayed by a day, and has hit the web this morning. We all know a good Fuck is always worth the wait.

The EP was recorded with Matt Tuton at The Lab on John’s Island, and shows the evolution of Baby Yaga’s sound from a 3-piece to a 4-piece, which makes for a much more full listen. Presley’s songwriting has always been solid, and now it seems the pop-punk instrumentation has finally filled in around it. I think there is a bright future for this band, if only the COVID-19 pandemic would end and allow them to go on tour.
