Joseph Dubay – “Pictures” (COVID Relief Session)

The COVID Relief Sessions from bsides continue today with Charleston singer-songwriter Joseph Dubay performing “Pictures” off his new EP Loser Boy, released last month on 4/20. The stripped-back nature of this session allows Joseph’s vocals and lyrics to take front and center, without the bedroom pop production elements that you’ll hear on the EP.

This session represents a $50 donation made by Joseph to the COVID Relief Fund of the Coastal Community Foundation. It’s part of an ongoing effort by Taylor Hickman of bsides to both help the community and produce great video content during this weird time. Matt Garber of For The Record has also donated his time to master the recordings, which is why they all sound so damn crispy.
