The Minks – “Nothin’ No More”

Yesterday, Nashville’s The Minks released a new single called “Nothin’ No More”. The single comes in advance of their show at The Royal American this Sunday, September 1st, where they’ll be joined by Hunter Park of She Returns From War. “Nothin’ No More” is the third single that The Minks have released off their upcoming album Light and Sweet, which is slated for release on September 20th.

“Nothin’ No More” shows the Nashville honky-tonk influence making its way into the typically blues rock music of The Minks. Accented with harmonica, this boot-stompin’ ballad was co-written by The Minks frontwoman Nikki Barber and her ex boyfriend Dylan Whitlow (Blackfoot Gypsies) while they were going through a breakup. That’s one way to have closure in a relationship.

Listen to “Nothin’ No More” by The Minks below, and head out to The Royal American this Sunday night to see them live. $5 at the door.
