SUSTO & Friends Announce Fine 2Day Fest

If you’ve ever wanted to see a bunch of Charleston bands at a barn in Iowa, the opportunity has presented itself. Earlier today, SUSTO, along with other Charleston bands The Artisanals, Crab Claw, Babe Club, and Human Resources, announced Fine 2Day Fest at Codfish Hollow Barnstormers in Maquoketa, Iowa on August 10th and 11th.

Tickets are $20 per day ($40 for two days) and include free camping. On Friday, August 10th, you’ll see SUSTO, The Artisanals, and Human Resources. On Saturday, August 11th, catch sets from SUSTO, Crab Claw, and Babe Club. Find all the information you need to know about the venue/camping situation here.

In case you aren’t familiar with these bands, I’ll give a quick recap. Other than the obvious fact that they’re all from Charleston, most of the bands playing Fine 2Day Fest share members. This means that we’re almost guaranteed to see some collaboration between acts.

Johnny Delaware of The Artisanals played guitar in SUSTO up until right before the release of & I’m Fine Today, when he was replaced by Dries Vandenberg of Human Resources. Paul Chelmis from Human Resources has also been known to play keys with The Artisanals. Babe Club consists of two SUSTO members, Jenna Desmond and Cory Campbell. Crab Claw has a rotating cast which will probably include just about everyone on the lineup that weekend.
