Zack Mexico Makes Charleston Pour House Debut with 2 Slices (Photos)

Last night, the legendary Zack Mexico made their Charleston Pour House debut, on the deck stage with support from 2 Slices. It had been a while since I’d gotten the chance to see Zack Mexico, and the opportunity to finally see them at the Pour House was something I wasn’t about to miss.

This band creates a massive sound and an entertaining spectacle to go with it. Three guitars and a bass wailing, building tension that rises palpably and bursts with distorted euphoria. Frontman John Saturley passes off his guitar to Brett Nash (of Secret Guest), and moves out into the crowd while demanding that nobody looks at him.

The set was pure madness. I’m trying to see Zack Mexico take the main stage at the Pour House in 2024. Anybody else?
