Cultura Festival Featured Artist: Melodik (Just Alex)

The next Cultura Festival featured artist on the line-up is Melodik aka Just Alex. Her dynamic vocals and industry level sound draws you in an keep you wanting more. She matches her sensual appeal with the classic ‘head in the clouds’ feel of R&B.

Melodik’s vocal presence puts me in the mind of artists like SZA, Jazmine Sullivan, and Christina Milian. She is most noted for her hit song “Let Me Know” featuring Renni Rucci, who is also a native of Columbia, SC. However, she shows a fluid and graceful pen in her songs “Slip” and “Outside”.

I’ve listened to “Slip” about 20 times today, but overall, she has a well-conditioned sound and daunting ambience. Not only do I look forward to seeing her bless the stage on May 6th, but I’m also highly anticipating hearing more music from the songstress.
