Mo.Et – “Replay” ft. Philip Isaiah & Rysice (Video)

Earlier this week, Mo.Et released the music video for “Replay” off his 2020 album Retro Mo. “Replay” features Rysice (formerly Poppy Native) and Phillip Isaiah, and is more of that smooth old school R&B vibe that Mo.Et explored with Retro Mo. It’s super slow, and made for snapping along with. Vocal harmonies and accents from Rysice flutter throughout and contribute to that nice, warm, old school feel, while Mo.Et sings about a special love interest and how he hopes to treat her.

The video is done up with a similar old school feel, introduced right away with the warm filter used by videographer Khari McCloud. Mo.Et sits in a café with his buddy when he notices the beautiful young lady who just walked through the door. He zones out for a moment imagining the time he could spend with her in the future, and that’s enough motivation for him to walk up and introduce himself. The video was directed by Spike Dee.
