Brooks Dixon – “Not In This Alone”

Greenville singer-songwriter Brooks Dixon has just released his own contribution to the growing pool of South Carolina quarantine songs, a single called “Not In This Alone”. The song is a reflection on the uncertainty of the future and the beauty inherent in the fact that we’re all dealing with it at the same time. Brooks wrote and recorded this at home during the quarantine, with a minimal approach that just includes vocals and acoustic guitar.

“If I could give the world some words of comfort in these unprecedented times, it’s that we’re ‘Not in this alone’,” Brooks says. “It’s a simple message, but I wrote it for this time and place because it felt like what I needed to do. I hope you enjoy it.”
