Charleston Bluegrass Festival Announces 2020 Lineup

2020 marks the 6th annual Charleston Bluegrass Festival, and they just dropped a lineup that marks a big step forward for the event. The festival has always booked a great lineup of bluegrass bands, but 2020 brings bigger names like Greensky Bluegrass and Yonder Mountain String Band to the table.

The 2020 Charleston Bluegrass Festival will take place at Charleston Woodlands on Friday March 20th, and Saturday, March 21st. Charleston Woodlands was the venue the Charleston Bluegrass Festival in 2019, and several other music festivals including Into The Woods, The Woodlands Festival, and Skinful Halloween.

This year’s Charleston Bluegrass Festival is hosted as always by Awendaw Green, but this year they’ve partnered with Friends With Benefits Productions and Ear For Music, two of Charleston’s most prominent promoters. That explains the bigger lineup for sure.

Full lineup includes Greensky Bluegrass, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush Band, Town Mountain, Ghost Light, Cris Jacobs Band, Larry Keel Experience, Jon Stickley Trio, Circus No. 9, and more.
