SUSTO – Live at The Royal American

In October 2017, SUSTO played a massive hometown show in The Royal American parking lot. This morning, the band shared a live video from that show in which they perform “Drug Money”, a bonus track off their 2017 album & I’m Fine Today. “Drug Money” first surfaced as part of the SUSTO Stories series, with Justin playing an acoustic version of the song and explaining how it came about.

Since & I’m Fine Today was released, SUSTO has toured almost constantly all over the U.S.A. and even in Europe. They just kicked off another tour that will include a two-night stand in Maquoketa, Iowa, as part of their very own Fine 2Day Fest, where they’ll be joined by fellow Charleston bands Human Resources, Babe Club, The Artisanals, and Crab Claw.

According to SUSTO’s social media posts this morning, this live version of “Drug Money” is one of three videos that will be released from that memorable night at The Royal American, with the next installment coming in two weeks. This one was filmed by David Keller, with audio by Matt Zutell of Coast Records.

Update 8/19/18: “Cosmic Cowboy” and “Hard Drugs” videos have been released and added to this article.
