Let It SLO: Holiday Family Jam at the Windjammer (Photos + Recap)

The festive production of the season, the Holiday Family Jam, combined the talents of Stop Light Observations with the help of The Simplicity, as they performed a sold-out show at Charleston’s favorite Isle of Palms venue, The Windjammer on Thursday, December 21st.

From the view of the merch table (and occasional trips to snapshots of the bands), the crisp evening was filled with locals and faithful fans looking forward to closing out their year with Stop Light Observations, the consecutive sellouts who just recently completed their 46-day national tour.

Charleston’s ascending rock outfit, The Simplicity, shared their electrically infused flair with a brisk opening set and an assortment of uniquely intertwined arrangements with friends and fellow rockers. The night consisted of classic Christmas ballads, original hits, and was an ultimate uniting of sheer skilled collaboration.

The jam-packed indoors of The Windjammer were filled with an overwhelming Christmas spirit, as the crowd put their arms around close friends, sang along cheerfully, and raised their glasses to yet another holiday season accompanied by some bad-ass music.
