Mt. Joy Announces 2024 Tour Dates

Mt. Joy has been taking the indie rock world by storm ever since the release of “Astrovan” in 2016. The track was a hit, but not quite “headlining Madison Square Garden” level, until now.

Today the group announces their 2024 tour dates that includes an MSG date next fall, plus two nights at Red Rocks in August, opening slots for Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan, and, for the locals reading, a stop at Firefly Distillery in Charleston, SC on September 17th, 2024.

Matt Quinn of Mt. Joy said, “It’s incredible to cross these milestones off the bucket list. I know we will always remember the hard work that got us here – the many rehearsals, shows, shitty loadouts in the snow – always knowing that if we kept going, we could be one of the best bands in the world. We’re a pretty humble group but we’re excited to be put on these stages where we can go prove, to anyone who doesn’t already know, that we’re one of the best out right now.”

The group’s newest album, 2022’s Orange Blood, is their most successful release to date. They’ve also released collaborations with Joy Oladokun, Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners, and Julia Pratt. Personally, I recommend their 2021 live album from Red Rocks, but that’s the Deadhead in me speaking.

Mt. Joy has plans to release even more new music in 2024, with news on that coming at the top of the year.
