Easy Honey Release Sophomore Album, Peach Fuzz

Easy Honey dropped their new album, Peach Fuzz, today. Three of the songs, “Picture,” “Far Out,” and “What I Might Do” were previously released as singles, which we covered here on Extra Chill. The remaining tracks on the 11-song album are brand new.

The project shows the band maturing into their sound, combining traditional rock ‘n’ roll energy with more thoughtful arrangements, sharp background vocals, and interesting interludes. Easy Honey has a knack for a post-chorus, in fact, this is where some of the most exciting moments happen on the album, particularly on “Finally on the Ground.” Other standout tracks include the slower, more contemplative “Habitat,” as well as “Gotta Get Back,” a classic EH tune that melds melodic, harmonized vocals, strong guitar presence, and a steady drum beat.

Peach Fuzz was recorded at The Space in Charleston with producer Wolfgang Zimmerman. Stream the album below, and don’t miss the release show at Royal American tomorrow night.
