87 Nights – “Hollywood”

87 Nights dropped a new single, “Hollywood,” on Friday. It’s the band’s first release since 2020’s “Know Yourself.”

“Hollywood” keeps an energetic pace with quick, even percussion that sounds like the clap of a hand, along with heady guitar riffs. Zane Acord’s vocals pack their usual punch, singing lines about interactions with a troublesome woman: “She’s no good / Hollywood,” the song repeats. A guitar solo toward the end of the track emphasizes the band’s raucous blues rock sensibilities.
