Little Stranger to Open for Badfish at the Music Farm

As far as tribute bands go, Badfish isn’t half bad (better than Greta Van Fleet). If you’re a fan of Sublime songs, you’ll probably enjoy a Badfish concert. I’d even go as far as saying they do a better job rocking Sublime songs than Sublime with Rome does, at least when it comes to being true to the original sound. They come through Charleston just about every time they go on tour, and on Friday, January 18th, they’ll be playing at the Music Farm once again.

If Sublime covers aren’t enough to get you excited, the local opener should do the trick. Charleston’s dynamic duo themselves, Little Stranger, will be kicking things off this Friday night at the Music Farm. They’ll be bringing their often reggae-inspired brand of lighthearted hip-hop to warm up the room before Badfish takes the stage. Also playing on Friday night are Maryland-based rock/reggae band Ballyhoo!.

Little Stranger are hot off the release of their late-2018 EP, Styles & Dynamics, which ranked at #7 on our Best SC Albums of 2018 list. They’ve been on tour almost constantly since the EP’s release, and for a long time before that, so you know they’re going to be at the top of their game come Friday night. The last time Little Stranger played a show in Charleston was when they kicked off The Movement’s sold-out show at The Pour House in September, and I’m sure they’re ready to bring it on back again.

Check out Little Stranger’s video stream of Styles & Dynamics below. I’ve also included some Badfish videos below that to give you an idea of what you’re working with. Tickets to Badfish and Little Stranger at the Music Farm are $18, but you can get yours for $14 if you type in “STRANGER” at checkout. Ticket link here.
