Queen St. Harmony Series Continues with Michael Flynn, Marcus Amaker, and Infinitikiss

This Saturday night, Awendaw Green’s Queen Street Harmony series will continue with another great lineup. On the bill this time around are Infinitikiss, Marcus Amaker, and Michael Flynn. They will perform in an intimate setting at the Footlight Players Theatre at 20 Queen Street. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $15 day-of. Music starts promptly at 7pm. Get your advance tickets here.

This weekend’s installment of the Queen St. Harmony series boasts perhaps the best lineup of the series to date. Each of these artists is incredibly talented in their own way, and you really can’t go wrong with a listening room performance like this one.

In case you aren’t familiar with these musicians, I’ll break it down for you:

Infinitikiss is the electronic solo and collaborative project of Nic Jenkins, who is a longtime staple in the Charleston music scene. In addition to performing as a solo artist, Nic has also worked extensively with plenty of prominent Charleston musicians including 2 Slices, Grace Joyner, and more. Check him out on Bandcamp here.

Marcus Amaker is most well-known as the poet laureate of Charleston, but he’s also a musician, a graphic designer (for No Depression), and all-around creative. He has released 27 albums and you can check them out on Bandcamp here.

Michael Flynn is in a little band called Slow Runner that all you music scene veterans have probably heard about. Slow Runner doesn’t play much anymore, but Michael Flynn has branched out into the solo territory and recently released his second solo album, Pretend Like. He has a new music video out for “Get Old” off the new album. Watch the music video below, and listen to more of Michael Flynn’s music on Bandcamp here.
