Extra Chill Fest Artist Profile: Chris Wilcox
Chris Wilcox is a Baltimore native who moved to Charleston right after he finished high school to attend the College of Charleston. In his early days as a musician, he made some pop-punk songs before making the transition to the country music that he plays today. After graduating from the College of Charleston, Chris made the move to Nashville to further pursue his career in music.
Wilcox is currently signed to Coast Records, and has released two albums under the label. The first one, Legacy, was released in 2016. His second EP, Songs for Myself was released in May, and it premiered right here on Extra Chill. He has recently been in the studio with Matt Zutell working on what will become his next album.
Extra Chill has worked extensively with Chris Wilcox over the years, and we are very excited to have him on the lineup for the inaugural Extra Chill Fest. His shows are known for bringing out the beer drinker in all of us, his performance at Extra Chill Fest will be no exception. Tickets to the fest are $20 and available here.
