The Dumbest Kids in School – “Taylor’s Got A Boyfriend”

This morning, Charleston garage rockers The Dumbest Kids in School gave us a beautiful Easter Sunday treat in the form of a new single. “Taylor’s Got A Boyfriend” is the first taste of new music from TDKIS since their 2017 album This Is Your Fault, which landed at number nine on our Best Charleston Albums of 2017 list. That record has been a frequent soundtrack over at Extra Chill HQ, and I can’t recommend it enough.

TDKIS self-recorded and produced “Taylor’s Got A Boyfriend”, and then it was mixed at Firefly Studios by Matt Schneck, who is also working on Heyrocco’s upcoming full-length release.

The Dumbest Kids in School are one of my favorite up-and-coming bands in Charleston. They’re making music that’s outside the lines of what you typically see coming out of this scene, and I love it. Listen below.
