Premiere: Tyler Boone – “When I Was Young” (Live in Nashville)

This morning we’re happy to premiere a live recording of Tyler Boone’s “When I Was Young” off his 2016 EP True Experience. This recording comes from a 2016 show that Tyler played at The High Watt in Nashville with Human Resources and Chris Wilcox. The files had been buried for some time, and were recently dug up and prepared for release. For this track, Matt Zuttell of Coast Records handled recording and mixing, and then Michael White (James Taylor, Whitney Houston) stepped in to take care of mastering.

If you like what you hear, there’s another recording in the pipeline from that same show that is slated for release next month. Tyler has also mentioned on his Twitter (@tylerbooner) that he’s just started mixing a brand new album. Lots of news coming soon from the Tyler Boone camp.

Stream “When I Was Young (Live in Nashville)” via Spotify below. Below that you’ll find a video of Tyler playing the song that night, with the same audio that just made its way onto Spotify.
