On Friday, December 27th, The Stews brought their annual ‘Stew Year’s Eve’ to the Charleston Music Hall for a sold out show before a chatty CofC crowd who unfortunately talked through most of their set.
Despite the chatter, The Stews played a solid show, with great performances of tracks from their new album Chicken Fight like “How It Ends” and “Buried Alive”. Along with crowd favorites like “Fireline” from the album What Was, plus “Slip Away” and “9-5” from their self-titled EP.
The band’s strength comes in their unassuming nature, as fresh-faced youths who deliver loud, rowdy sounds that will shock you.
