Rising and dynamic bluegrass ensemble Mountain Grass Unit have just announced a massive summer tour for 2025, with fifty shows across the U.S. between May and September. The “Runnin’ From Trouble Tour” is named after their recent EP of the same name, and is a nod to the track “Smugglin'”
“Runnin’ From Trouble is a nod to the track “Smugglin’,” explained Sam Wilson (bass, vocals). “Although it sounds cool to be cowboy smuggling across the desert, the title more so reflects our vibe as a group… our rigorous tour schedule keeps us on our toes and runnin’ from trouble!”
2025 is shaping up to be a huge year for Mountain Grass Unit, who are coming in hot off the end of 2024, a year that included several landmark occasions for the band.
Most notably, perhaps, is when they stepped up to the plate at Billy Strings’ Renewal Festival, among other lineup artists, when Billy had to leave on short notice for the birth of his son.
