
Renowned funk-fusion band Lettuce hits Charleston’s The Refinery this Friday, October 17th, on their Cook World Tour which will run around the world until February of 2026. The GRAMMY-nominated powerhouse will release their new LP, Cook, on December 3rd, via their own Lettuce Records.

The latest single from Cook, “Breathe”, was released October 7th, is noted by trumpet player Eric “Benny” Boom as his “favorite song on the record.”
“I can just see myself strutting down the streets of NYC on a brisk October night, thinking of all the possibilities my future holds if I just listen to myself and breathe,” he says.

Also featured on Cook is Lettuce’s recent cover of the 1982 Keni Burke classic, “Rising to the Top,” a soulful, buttery smooth rendition.

The lead single from Cook is “Gold Tooth”, a certified funk heater that will definitely get the party started at their live shows.

Cook is noted for showcasing all sides of the band, which is a multi-dimensional musical force with over two decades of experience, from festival late nights, tours with Ziggy Marley and GZA, to being sampled by hip-hop greats like Mary J. Blige, LL Cool J, Nas, 50 Cent, and more.
Earlier this year, they even collaborated with the Colorado Symphony for a full-length live album, and released their own wines, Lettuce Red Crush and Orange Crush, in collaboration with Aquila Cellars.
