On Tuesday, October 21st, Jesse McCartney performed at the Refinery in Charleston, SC as part of the Weightless Tour, supporting his new EP. Jesse is a massively successful artist with a career spanning over two decades, but was clear from this show that even with success, he remains truly passionate about his music, fans, and performances.

The concert started with Ana Sky performing a few of her hit tracks, including her recently released track “Love Sex Regret.” After her strong and beautiful performance, the crowd started going crazy. You could feel the excitement and overwhelming joy as Jesse took the stage.

Beyond the pyrotechnics, singing along word for word, and dancing like nobody’s watching, Jesse invited one fan on stage to sing directly to them, “Party For Two” (a hit track he wrote for his now wife).

The crowd absolutely lost their minds, and everybody put their hands up to be serenaded, but only one lucky fan made it on stage. Their friend was front and center, invited into the pit, to document the special moment.

Jesse left the stage, and the concert concluded without him singing his most popular song, the 2004 radio hit, “Beautiful Soul.” Or so the audience thought… but soon Jesse re-appeared and said, “You thought I forgot…” and officially concluded his concert with the fan-favorite song as the encore.
