This Must Be The Place, the nonprofit harm reduction group, returned for their 4th year at Bonnaroo 2025 with a stronger presence than ever. Their primary booth at Plaza 4 operated Wednesday 11AM–6PM and Thursday through Sunday 10AM–7PM, offering free nasal Narcan, educational materials, and a supportive space for festivalgoers.
New this year was the "Be The Place After Dark" booth near Snake & Jake’s in Centeroo, open 7PM–11PM Thursday through Sunday. This second location continued the mission to provide life-saving naloxone and overdose prevention education under the evening hours when risks are heightened.
Festival community response was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the vital role of harm reduction at large-scale events. This Must Be The Place’s expanded footprint at Bonnaroo 2025 exemplifies cutting-edge festival safety efforts, normalizing naloxone use and fentanyl awareness in real-time.
Their harm reduction services have become a trusted standard at major U.S. festivals including Lollapalooza, Governors Ball, and Austin City Limits. By bringing these tools directly to attendees, they contribute substantially to reducing overdose fatalities and supporting festival well-being.
