On Saturday, October 19th, alternative hip-hop legend Atmosphere stopped through Charleston for a show at the Music Farm with support from Reverie and NO FUN!, as part of the 2024 Traveling Forever Tour. Steve Aycock was present with his camera and also relayed some details about the show.

NO FUN! was up first, and they came out with an instant bang, with LOTS of artists on stage at once. Rappers, singers, guitars and drums hitting hard and fast with just tons of electric energy that carried on throughout set, as evidenced through the photo gallery.

Reverie put on a strong show with lots of movement and energy fueled by resonant lyrics and strong beats.

Atmosphere dove in with a multitude of mixed classics going back to their early days and managed some of the new work too. Slug, the rapper in Atmosphere, gave the audience a real show with intelligent and thought provoking commentary that is a hallmark of the group’s overall positive attitude, and shows himself to be a consummate lead entertainer.

Slug’s recent EP, Talk Talk comes highly recommended. Also check out his latest, the collaborative The Detour EP with HEBL and Zoodeville. Check out the photo gallery below, and see even more photos on Steve’s website!
