If you were lucky enough to snag a ticket for The Revivalists at The Refinery, you were in for a treat. The band was celebrating the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough album, Men Amongst Mountains, for the final show of The Refinery’s 2025 season.

A sold-out crowd, a massive “super moon” style moon shining in the dark blue cloudless sky, and a very noticeable chill was in the air.

A windless chill that made every beat, every melody feel like it was warming you up. Lead singer David Shaw greeted everyone like old friends, leaning into the crowd from an extended stage.

The Revivalists launched into their set with hits that were both familiar and fresh like “Stand Up,” “Bulletproof,” and “Monster.”

They even delivered several awesome covers, including Rage Against the Machine’s “Bulls on Parade” and Tom Petty’s “American Girl”. The band was in top form. The saxophone burned, the pedal steel shined, and the audience? Their voices rose, and their feet stomped.

By the time the encore hit, the crowd seemed unbothered by the cold and warmed up from the energetic live performance. The Refinery closed out 2025 with a banger.
