Resurgence, an Immersive Art Exhibition at Silver Hill Studio

Here at Extra Chill, we think it’s important to support art in the Lowcountry across all disciplines, from music to visual art. In that spirit, we wanted to highlight an extremely cool event taking place in the visual arts space later this month: Resurgence, an Immersive Art Exhibition at Silver Hill Studio on March 17th and 18th.

Three immensely talented local artists, Bri Wenke, Sam Rueter, and Morgan East, have collaborated to create the event, and their work will be featured in the show.

Resurgence will be an exploration into the cycles and intricacies of nostalgia, grief, and memory. For two nights only, more than twenty five of the artists’ new works will be displayed against the backdrop of Silver Hill Studio, along with an immersive light show created by Lazer Catcher (aka Seth Abramson) and a soundscape crafted by Preston Dunnavant

The event will also feature food and drinks, with food trucks TBA and beverages by The Wandering Taps.

Tickets are $5 and available for three different time slots: Friday, March 17th from 6-9pm, Saturday, March 18th from 1-4pm, and Saturday evening from 6-9pm, which would be the the perfect pre-game for Extra Chill’s own first show of the year at Royal American featuring Babe Club, Leopard and the Diamond Sky, and Leone & The Ascension. Sounds like an amazing weekend.
