This Friday, September 16th, Brave Baby will perform at the Music Farm with support from 2 Slices. The longtime friends and veterans of the Charleston music scene have been performing together for years, and with the Music Farm all spruced up this is bound to be a great show.
The Music Farm show comes on the heels of a recent announcement from Brave Baby that they will be releasing two new songs next Friday, September 23rd. “S.O.T.A. (Bright Star)” and “Dirt Patch Court” are the first in a series of releases that will span the next eight months to a year, with two new songs every 6 weeks.
“When we’re done, hopefully they’ll fold together like one cohesive body of work,” the band said in an Instagram post, “Maybe they won’t!?! Either way it will be fun and we hope you enjoy the hell out of them.”
In anticipation of the Music Farm show, Brave Baby have made both “S.O.T.A. (Bright Star)” and “Dirt Patch Court” available as Bandcamp exclusives today and tomorrow only (9/15 and 9/16). After the show, both tracks will be removed from Bandcamp until next Friday, so now’s your chance to listen before you see them do it live.
Both songs were self-produced and recorded at drummer Wolfgang Zimmerman’s studio The Space.
