Kaizër – “Overtime”

Last Monday, rapper Kaizër dropped a new single, “Overtime.” The track is his second release of the year and will be part of his debut album, I Exist, which is set to come out on June 28th.

“Overtime,” which was produced by Black Dave and Infinitefreefall, follows a similar pattern to Kaizer’s other tracks: quick-witted lines are delivered at an incredibly fast pace, keeping the listener on their toes.

About a third of the way through the song, Kaizër’s voice takes on a more layered quality and engages in some repetition, providing more of a hook than some of the artist’s earlier releases. “Like I’m working wit demons my whole life/ Never could see em but gotta believe em / Cause they just put in overtime,” he raps amidst the backdrop of an almost manic-sounding beat.

Stream “Overtime” by Kaizër below and stay tuned for I Exist to drop later this month.
