Fo Daniels – “Hold on Tight”

Singer-songwriter Fo Daniels is picking up the intensity with his latest single, “Hold on Tight.” The track was released on Saturday and will serve as the first single off his upcoming album, which he recorded at Coast Records in October with the help of Selby Austin, Darby McGlone, and Charlie Holt of Easy Honey on bass, guitar, and drums, respectively.

“Hold on Tight” is a high-speed track with a rugged rock and roll guitar sound. Daniels’ polished, soulful vocals pull the song together. It gives off the kind of dancing-at-a-dive-bar energy that makes you want to pour yourself a drink.

According to Daniels, the song is about “a free-spirited girl that breaks hearts with so much style that you can’t help but respect her for it.”
