Black Nicholson – “Fast Times”

Charleston bedroom DIY project Black Nicholson is back again with another new song called “Fast Times”, the first of hopefully many that we will hear this year. Black Nicholson was one of my favorite new Charleston music scene projects in 2020, as it truly captures the bedroom aesthetic in a way that showcases one person’s creativity. That person, of course, is Brad Beckman, whom plays all of the instruments on “Fast Times” and other Black Nicholson tracks, and whom records everything himself on his iPhone in his Charleston bedroom.

“Fast Times” is the first Black Nicholson release of 2020, and serves to further explore the retro style that Beckman has landed upon with this project. This time it comes with a little bit of indie rock jangle.
