Abstract – That Rapper – “Burning Bush (Freestyle)”

Abstract – That Rapper was fairly quiet for the second half of 2020, as he took a step back from social media not long after the June release of the “Keep On” freestyle with Slim S.O.U.L. Even with this little break, Abstract still won the 2020 Charleston City Paper Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Artist, his third time receiving the honor. After that he announced that the “KXNG” freestyle was on the way, and was released on Soundcloud on January 2nd.

It seems that Julian is ready to come in hot in 2021, because he dropped another one called the “Burning Bush (Freestyle)”, and he’s got yet another on the way called “Run It Like”. This one is rapped over the type of instrumental beat that I think Abstract excels with the most. It was produced by Oleg of Little Bird, whom Julian has collaborated with extensively over the years. I would agree with Julian when he says, “This beat is fire”.
