Reo Cragun – “All The Way”

The first outside-of-SC submission to make its way onto Extra Chill is the new single from Vancouver, Washington based artist, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Reo Cragun. “All The Way” is alternative R&B that runs slow and smooth and crafts a vibe with crispy modern production elements and free-flowing vocal delivery. The track comes from Reo Cragun’s upcoming EP, Beam Me Up, and follows previous singles “Cuss You Out” and “Grown Men Don’t Cry”.

What’s cool about Reo Cragun is that he’s versatile enough to hit a bunch of different styles without losing sight of the overarching feel. “All The Way” features mostly singing vocals, but earlier single “Cuss You Out” is way more of a rap song, yet both of them have a similar modern appeal. The other single “Grown Men Don’t Cry” is way too overtly sadboi and doesn’t do it for me at all, but “All The Way” and “Cuss You Out” are both pretty cool songs.

If you dig this stuff you might also like the EP that Reo Cragun did in 2019 with Flume, titled Quits.

Listen to “All The Way” by Reo Cragun below, and stay tuned for the new EP Beam Me Up coming soon.
