Last week, in honor of the beginning of October and thus the official start of Spooky Season, Fleur Geurl released a haunting new single called “Crawling”. The song is a lo-fi, minimalistic exploration of everlasting love, even love that persists into the grave, with two lovers pushing up daisies side-by-side for all of eternity.
“Crawling” was released on October 1st along with a music video shot in a graveyard in Asheville. It features Danielle wandering around with her guitar and a witch’s hat, singing among the gravestones. The whole thing has a nice, warm feel to it, which is exactly the way we all want to be feeling as cooler weather closes in upon us.
