Yerning Whir – Yerning Whir 2

I woke up this morning to a message from Scott Dence (Dumb Doctors) on Bandcamp about the new Yerning Whir EP, named Yerning Whir. This is the second four-song EP to come from Yerning Whir, which is the mysterious new project of the multitalented and quirky Charleston musician Scott Dence. The songs are all recorded digitally, as opposed to the mostly analog tape recordings he makes with Dumb Doctors. According to the message, these tunes are inspired by Van Halen and Barry Manilow.

This is the second EP from Yerning Whir, the first also being called Yerning Whir that was released back in June. Hence why I’m calling it Yerning Whir 2. Dumb Doctors, Yerning Whir, and Scott Dence are all absent from social media, but one of these days I’ll get a hold of Scott and get some life and creative updates from him to share will y’all.
