Jah Jr. – “Quality” (Video)

Jah Jr. recently dropped the music video for the banger “Quality” off his 2020 album Here I Go. The video is another High Quality collaboration with videographer Stan Green, who Jah has worked with on many different music videos over the years. Here we see Jah Jr. repping the quality he raps about, accompanied by the lovely Charmaine Marie and her party cannon filled with hundred dollar bills. There’s also a cameo from fellow Charleston hip-hop artist Neno Kasanova, seen dancing in the back with some big heart-shaped glasses.

Here I Go is the most recent album release from Jah Jr., and the first to part ways with the Dublin, GA theme set forth by his previous two releases, Still Dub and Back 2 Da Dub. Instead of songs about how Dublin contributed to Jah Jr.’s persona today, Here I Go explores a different lens that is sometimes more personal, like with “Scarred”, and sometimes just simply “talking that shit”, as Jah would say. “Quality” is an example of Jah Jr. talking his shit.
