H3RO ft. PATx ‘Lil Y.A.D.Y. (You Ain’t Dead Yet)” (Video)

Earlier this week, Columbia hip-hop artists H3RO and PATx released a new collaborative tune and music video called “Lil Y.A.D.Y. (You Ain’t Dead Yet)”. The track pokes fun at all the “Lil” rappers in the game today, and stresses the importance of staying true to your art, while pointing out how the music industry seems to be so obsessed with image and social media following rather than artistic merit. This message culminates with PATx’s contribution, which in the video takes place during a therapy session between PATx and H3RO, where the two trade lines back and forth in a conversational style.

The song builds this story and message of an artist losing his mind while obsessing over the faceless masses who represent his following, and the video follows along and offers a really nice cinematic representation. This whole package is pretty sick, to be honest.

Video directed by Uzoma Udogwu, and filmed/produced by William Huang. Check it out below, and check out both H3RO and PATx on the Amethyst in SC project as well.
